Bio:

 

My research focuses on causal machine learning for intelligent and autonomous decision-making under uncertainty. I collaborate with academics and industry organisations to apply my research across various disciplines including healthcare, military defence, sports, economics, and gaming.

Oct 2024: I am looking for CSC (China) studentship applicants for a PhD project in Deep Causal Machine Learning. The studentship includes full tuition fee waiver and a living stipend of £1,350pcm, for up to 48 months. Deadline for applications 29 Jan 2025. Oct 2024: Applications are invited for S&E Doctoral Research Studentships for Underrepresented Groups (e.g., Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic). The studentships include full tuition fee waiver for UK/home students, and a yearly living stipend starting at £21,237 for 3.5 years (part-time option also possible). Apr 2024: Applications are invited for a postdoc to work on a UK defence and security 2.5-year project funded by DSTL. Applicants should have skills in decision-making systems, causal machine learning, and willingness to broaden their knowledge in autonomous electromagnetic defence systems. Nov 2022: We are looking for CSC (China) studentship applicants to work with us on PhD projects related to Causal Machine Learning and/or Bayesian networks. May 2022: Applications are invited for a full PhD scholarship starting Sep 2022/Jan2023 (or as soon as possible thereafter) to undertake research in Probabilistic Machine Learning in Climate Science. Sep 2020: We are looking for a research assistant or a postdoc to work with us for up to six months, on a part-time or full-time basis, on projects related to BN structure learniing.
